"I had my first photo shoot ever with Miriam and I was so nervous and she put me so at ease with helping me pick out outfits that would look the best on our photo shoot location and just be friending my daughter.

It was the best time that I’ve ever had getting my photo taken, and I don’t like my photo taken. And when she sent me the images, I can’t even decide which one is my favorite. I love them all.

She captures the relationship between me and my daughter and the joy of a four-year-old‘s eyes at the beach. I was so impressed and I can’t wait to get her to take our picture again.

I’m a natural light photographer based in Maryland, where I’ve been a native for the past thirteen years.

I love doing colorful, playful sessions that feel less like a posed time and more like a good time (candids are my personal favorites).

Because if we photograph everyone we care about, we’ll always have part of them with us.

What I'VE been up to
